💌 A Letter From Erika
I’ll never forget the season we sold our home during the pandemic.
At first, it felt sad leaving memories of what my husband and I had first built in our 20s through effort and love. Now, we had to start from scratch, but we had faith life is full of possibilities. The reality of overpriced homes too small and taxes too high to call a forever home. So, we prayed for our next move. We wanted homeownership with harmony, not chaos.
Instead of giving up, we took a leap of faith. We decided to subdivide land and build from the ground up.
It wasn’t easy. There were moments of uncertainty, lessons that tested us, and one mistake that cost us $6,000. But you know what? Through wisdom, prayer, and learning from others who’d walked this road before us, we ended up saving over $200,000 in construction and interest costs.
